Public Act 96-0434 Effective 8/13/09
On August 13, 2009 Governor Quinn signed into law P.A. 96-0434, which creates two new School Code provisions that require school districts to annually prepare an itemized salary compensation report for every employee holding an administrative certificate and working in that capacity.
The report must be:
1) Presented as an information item at a regularly scheduled school board meeting held on Sept. 17, 2009; 2) Sent to the Regional Office of Education; and 3) Be posted on the school district website by October 1, 2009
The Illinois State Board of Education ("ISBE") has not released a reporting format for these new salary compensation reporting requirements. Until ISBE provides a reporting format, it is suggested that each school district provide their report in a user-friendly table, such as:
